About our Providers

Premium and Recommended providers credentialed with EPIC Hearing serve our members with the highest quality of care, offering products in accordance with the program requirements and helping you on your path to better hearing.

How we help you get high-quality hearing care

Our goal at EPIC Hearing is to make hearing care accessible, affordable, and easy to trust. That’s why we work closely with a nationwide network of hearing care providers who are committed to delivering exceptional care.

What this means for you

When you choose a provider through EPIC Hearing, you’re being connected with a hearing professional who’s been carefully evaluated for quality and service. Our process helps ensure you receive:
  • Consistent, high-quality care from experienced hearing professionals
  • Access to a wide range of hearing aid options, including different technology levels and accessible price points
  • Clear guidance and follow-up, so you know what to expect every step of the way
  • Support that fits your needs, whether you’re using a benefit, a discount program, or paying out of pocket

How we choose our providers

Understanding what happens after an individual is connected to a network provider helps make sure each individual is taken care of without delays. There are four measures to evaluate quality care: We regularly review providers in our network to make sure they uphold the following:
  • Care delivery that’s recommended for your hearing needs
  • Timely follow through on patient care and next steps
  • Offer hearing solutions that fit different lifestyles and budgets
  • Consistently meet service, pricing and care expectations

Providers demonstrating strong performance are highlighted to help members more easily find professionals who are well‑matched to their needs.

Premium and Recommended provider status is determined on an analysis of services delivered to patients during the past six-month measurement period. Providers are evaluated using a standardized set of quality and performance outcomes, and overall scores are used to classify providers as Premium, Recommended, or Participating.

Why this matters

High-quality hearing care can make a meaningful difference in daily life — from staying socially connected to feeling safer and more confident. Early access to care and trusted guidance can also help reduce the risk of isolation and other health concerns.

By maintaining a strong provider network, we help ensure you have:

  • Reliable options nearby
  • Confidence in the care you receive
  • Support throughout your hearing journey

Disclaimer Regarding Provider Excellence Program Designations

Information provided through the Provider Excellence Program is not intended to endorse or recommend a specific provider as being appropriate for the hearing care needs of any individual patient. Hearing care providers remain solely responsible for all clinical decisions and for the hearing health care and treatment services they deliver.

A designation of Premium or Recommended reflects performance against defined program criteria, but does not guarantee the quality of hearing health care services, nor does it guarantee any specific outcome resulting from care provided by a participating provider.

A provider’s lack of a Premium or Recommended designation does not indicate that the provider offers substandard hearing care services. All providers within the network have met established credentialing requirements.

There are reasons why a provider may not hold a Premium or Recommended designation. For example, a provider may be new to the network or may not yet have sufficient patient volume to support a meaningful evaluation during the measurement period.

Premium and Recommended designations are intended to serve as informational guidance when choosing a provider and should not be the sole factor in selecting care. As with any program that evaluates performance using a sample of available data, there is an inherent risk of variability or error, and designations should be considered alongside individual needs and preferences.
